Previously, I recently stumbled upon an interesting article focused on a coding kit that teaches kids how to code by using an IoT device in the form of a wizard’s wand from one of my favorite franchises of all time, Harry Potter!
Kano, a company that focuses on developing educational products that teach fun ways to use technology, recently created The Harry Potter Kano Coding Kit. Using the Internet of Things and a mobile application this wand can do many things. It can learn to code spells and wave your wand to make your code come to life. That is, in the form of on-screen animations. This could attract a brand new audience to the coding community and teach valuable new skills.
Additionally as technology continues to improve, many parents are looking for ways to get their children involved. So, this is an excellent, fun way to do it! As well new software continues to release and teach various difficulties of code for anyone to jump into. Some of the best coding applications that I personally use are Codecademy, Grasshopper, and Pluralsight. If you are a beginner or just want to brush up on your skills, these are the perfect places to start.

In conclusion, IoT isn’t just for wands and learning to code. IoT devices are being used in the enterprise & mid-market businesses world to transform and improve the way they operate. Check out this video on how we helped a National Delivery Service to see IOT live in action!
